Flowcup

Flowcup is a Swedish company run by the brilliant Diana Lidsforsen. Flowcups are economical and sustainable sanitary products made of 100% medical grade soft silicone, making it safe to use. At Flowcup we believe that every woman has the right to menstrual protection, no matter where they live. Our mission statement since 2017 – we pledge to contribute to equality and provide women in low income countries with safe menstrual cups.

The Collaboration

Join us in providing access, education and dignity to girls living in low income communities. We focus on women’s health, educate communities on menstrual hygiene and provide girls with a tool that helps them stay in school while managing their period. Some call them menstrual cups, we call them ‘little silicone scholarships’…

The Cova Project

The Cova Project provides menstrual cups to African women, bridging the 50 day attendance gap between girls and boys due to menstruation. We create and distribute educational materials, with accurate visual representation of the girls, to build confidence as they strengthen their knowledge around personal health and development. To date we’ve donated 6,500 menstrual cups in Liberia, Ghana, Uganda, Malawi and South Africa.
