"It is no secret that the bodies of womxn have been commodified and stigmatized for centuries, which means that menstrual cycles have been too. Despite menses being a natural and inevitable experience for at least half our human population, the products used to manage this experience have not been made universally accessible. Period products are expensive for many, and virtually unobtainable for some. Many of us have the luxury of taking this access for granted, but those served by The Cova Project do not. That is why the members of Psi Lambda Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., have partnered with The Cova Project to contribute to this worthy cause.
